Looking to cure that hangover following your big NYE festivities? Here are a few places in Shanghai where you can enjoy a New Year's Day 2018 recovery brunch or lunch.

New Year's Festive Brunch at Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao
Start the new year off right with a spread of superb cuisines prepared by Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao's expert culinary team.

New Year's Day Recovery Brunch Buffet at Yi Café
Rough night? Yi Café's seafood station is the perfect first indulgence for 2018. Priced at RMB488 per person and RMB244 per child, the buffet also includes a variety of seasonal Yunnan mushrooms, duck breast, Brussels sprouts with crushed hazelnuts and a special dessert. Adults can add RMB100 to upgrade to a free-flow beverage package that includes cocktails, bloody mary, martini, gin and tonic, Yellow Label Veuve Clicquot champagne, wine, draft beer, juices and soft drinks.

New Year’s Day Brunch at Camelia
Forget about last night's decisions and indulge in sumptuous brunch at Camelia. Standard package is RMB528 per person. For free-flow chilled juice and soft drinks, it's RMB628 per person. Or enjoy free-flow local craft beer and prosecco for RMB728.

New Year's Day Lunch at The Waterhouse at South Bund
Enjoy a classy New Year's Day lunch at The Waterhouse. The delectable set menu includes Boudeuse oyster, Icelandic mackerel, foie gras, beef cheek, halibut and more. For dessert, you'll be treated to Ebene 72 percent dark chocolate with Timut pepper, citrus and milk.
